Google was founded by Larry Page and his best friend, Sergey Brin. Larry Page was CEO for a long time, but after Sundar Pichai stepped down, he really never showed up and didn't want to be bothered by anyone.

1. Never Appear in Public Again
In 2015, Page stepped down from the position of CEO of Google and appointed Sundar Pichai. Then Page led Alphabet, the parent of Google and other companies under his auspices. He then let go of the position at Alphabet and since then, Page seems to have disappeared.
This Stanford graduate from the beginning, even when he was at the helm of Google, did not like the spotlight and very few wanted to do interviews. Especially after it was later discovered that he was suffering from a disease that affected his voice.
"You never see Larry Page. At least Brin is still in this world, I later met him in a restaurant in San Francisco, where he was wearing Google Glass, but Page is like a ghost," said The Verge journalist, Casey Newton.
2. Retreat in Fiji and New Zealand
Page and his wife, Lucinda Southworth, have reportedly spent a year alone in Fiji, spent mostly on the island of Tavarua, a heart-shaped island just west of Fiji's main island. There are even reports that he has purchased one of the islands there.
The island in Fiji might be the perfect place for him because it's away from the crowds. The Fijian government does prohibit tourists from entering, but it does not apply to the rich. "The government of Fijian campaign welcomes those who have a lot of money," wrote one traveler, Lorenzo Cipriani who claimed to have seen Larry Page.
After being found in Fiji during the pandemic, he was also known to have secretly entered New Zealand territory, and was granted a residence permit in the country. Page entered New Zealand in mid-January after his son required emergency medical treatment.
3. The Mysterious Larry Page's House
Larry Page's mansion in Old Palo Alto, California, USA was reported to have caught fire on Tuesday (14/9) night. Interestingly, local residents suspected that the luxury house was secretly used as a secret office.
One of Page's neighbors, Diane Christiansen, said Page owns a number of homes in the area and is very private. He said that some of Page's houses were occupied by his family members and some were rented out.
Page's property complex in Old Palo Alto seems to be in the spotlight of the local community. While buying several houses in the area, Page planned to carry out major renovations including digging a large underground pit. Residents feared the project would affect underground water supplies, leading to speculation that Larry Page was building some kind of bunker.
